After working in Grant Thornton's tax department (previously Alexander Grant) for five years, Larry Waldman started Waldman & Company, CPA's in August of 1975. Utilizing his strong expertise in tax and business planning and tax filing compliance, Waldman & Company, CPA's grew rapidly by attracting a client portfolio of successful medium and smaller sized businesses and high net worth clientele. With a strong expertise in advising its clients how to maximize their after tax costs bottom line, our firm has developed a focus in real estate, restaurant, food distribution, manufacturing, and various service oriented businesses requiring complex tax knowledge.
Larry graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1970 with a BBA in accounting. He was a member of Beta Alpha Si accounting fraternity. Larry has been a CPA since 1972. He worked in the tax department for the predecessor of Grant Thornton from 1970 through 1975 with a focus in entrepreneurial business, individual planning and tax filing compliance. Larry started Waldman & Company CPA's in August 1975 and was chosen by Money Magazine as one of the top 100 tax CPA's in the United States in 1988. Over the years Larry has participated formally and informally on the board of directors of various clients. Larry has also participated over the years on the board of directors and/or advisory group for various charities.
Rob has worked for Waldman & Company since 2002 and is experienced with complex business, individual, and trust taxation. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Dayton and received his Master's degree in Taxation from the University of Cincinnati. Rob focuses on challenging tax issues and finding creative solutions to reduce client's overall tax liabilities and compliance problems.
Steve is a manager at Waldman & Company and has been with the firm since 2003. Steve has become an integral part of the firm’s tax team. Steve focuses on providing various tax advisory services for high net worth individuals, corporations and partnerships. His expertise consists of tax consulting and tax return preparation duties, including tax research, tax planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various tax returns and tax related projects. Steve earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Grace College.
